Recognized AT&T VoIP Services Four Times for 2005 Market Leadership

Bedminster, New Jersey, January 23, 2006, AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) announced today that TMC has selected AT&T as the recipient of its 2005 VoIP Product of the Year Award for AT&T Voice Dynamic Network Applications(SM) (DNA) service. This most recent award is the fourth such recognition bestowed on AT&T VoIP services for market leadership in 2005.

AT&T Voice DNA is a network-based Voice over IP (VoIP) service that combines the cost and functionality benefits of a premises-based VoIP service with the flexibility, control and reduced capital expenditures of network-based IP services.

As the recipient of the 2005 VoIP Product of the Year Award, TMC noted that AT&T’s unique ability to deliver solutions with a world-class customer experience set it apart in the marketplace.

“AT&T has been providing VoIP solutions to our business customers for nearly a decade,” said Mark Keiffer, AT&T Chief Marketing Officer-Business. “So it’s gratifying to have the innovation, performance and reliability of our VoiceDNA service recognized by such a well-respected magazine.”

AT&T offers one of the most comprehensive VoIP portfolios in the industry and late last year was also the recipient of three 2005 VoIP Service Provider Awards presented by Internet Telephony magazine, a TMC publication. These Best-in-Class awards recognized the AT&T CallVantage Service and its excellence in innovation and awareness, customer care and VoIP number portability.

AT&T continues to integrate new business applications into its VoIP portfolio to provide customers with a foundation for future Dynamic Network Applications such as conferencing, video and collaboration.
