Ubisense, the Precise Real-Time Location company, took 3rd place in the prestigious fasting growing technology company in the 2008 Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA.

Cambridge, UK, Dec 8th 2008 — Ubisense today announced that it had won 3rd place in the 2008 Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA, a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology companies in the EMEA region. Rankings are based on percentage revenue growth over five years and Ubisense grew 15324 percent during this period.

Technology Fast 500 EMEA selection and qualifications
The Technology Fast 500 list is compiled from Deloitte’s EMEA Technology Fast 50 programs, nominations submitted directly to the Fast 500, and public company database research. To qualify for the Fast 500, entrants must have had 2003 operating revenues of at least €50,000 and 2007 operating revenues of at least €800,000.
Entrants must also be public or private companies headquartered in EMEA and must be a “technology company,” defined as a company that owns proprietary technology that contributes to a significant portion of the company’s operating revenues; or devotes a significant proportion of revenues to the research and development of technology. Using other companies’ technology in a unique way does not qualify.
