Bergen County Swim Lessons

Bergen County New Jersey swim lessons are now available at the Ridgewood YMCA. The YMCA offers a state of the art swimming facility and swimming lessons for all ages. Preschool swim lessons are available to help children improve their swimming skills from beginner to advanced levels. Youth and teen swim lessons are also available for various levels. Private swim lessons are available for any age and ability. Swim lessons are available for home-schoolers to improve swimming skills and to fulfill physical education requirements.

In an online interview, Richard Claydon, the Ridgewood YMCA Chief Executive Officer, states, “Our mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind, and body. Swimming is a fun and healthy activity. We not only teach one how to swim, but also how to be water safe and to apply the values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility toward other swimmers.”

Beyond swim lessons, the Ridgewood YMCA offers a plethora of activities in Bergen County including activities in art, science, sports, and fitness.
