Bo Di Muccio Joins IDC as Program Manager, Consulting Services Research

FRAMINGHAM, Mass., January 13, 2006 – Bo Di Muccio, Ph.D., has recently been named program manager for IDC’s Consulting Services research. In this role, Mr. Di Muccio will be responsible for the research and analysis of the business and IT consulting markets, including analysis of the opportunities for consulting in strategic industry segments, such as financial services and health care, and an examination of major trends and developments in the consulting space.

Mr. Di Muccio’s background includes extensive experience in technology industry analysis and in both business and academic research. Prior to joining IDC, he spent five years at Deloitte where he served several business units and supported a variety of industry practices. While with Deloitte, he performed research, competitive intelligence, brand marketing, marketing communications, and business development/sales support in several industries and consulting practice areas, including CRM, business IT strategy, technology integration, information security, and enterprise risk management. Prior to his tenure at Deloitte, Mr. Di Muccio held similar roles at AltaVista Company and Compaq Computer Corporation. He was a faculty member of the University of Florida’s Department of Political Science prior to beginning his career in technology market research.
