Research Triangle Park, NC. Mi-Co, the mobile data capture software company, announced today that Clem “C” Skelton has been hired to focus on customer implementations and support for Mi-Co’s pharmaceutical and clinical trial data capture initiatives.

"Hiring “C” demonstrates Mi-Co’s continued emphasis on focusing our direct hires on software development and customer support, “ stated Jim Clary, Mi-Co CEO. “This hiring philosophy, coupled with our strong partnering program for sales channels and marketing activities, allows Mi-Co to spend a significant portion of revenue on research and development of Mi-Forms Software and technical services for our expanding client base.”

Skelton brings an implementation services background that includes extensive experience in a number of technologies important to Mi-Co’s customers including Microsoft’s .Net framework and VB.Net. These two technologies are key components of the most recent release of the Mi-Forms Software System.

Skelton spent over 10 years as an engineering consultant at Eli Lilly and over five years as a Senior Technical Consultant with Hewlett Packard. During his time at Lilly, he developed and validated computer systems used in the pharmaceutical discovery process. Among his activities at HP was the development of automation systems involving high volumes of data for use in quality control systems.

“C’s strong enterprise experience gained at HP and his software implementation projects at Eli Lilly, make him a perfect fit for Mi-Co as we continue our focus on the enterprise market space. In addition, he will bolster our capabilities in Mi-Co’s specific initiatives in healthcare and clinical trial data capture technology, “ added Clary.

This announcement follows the recent promotion of Chris DiPierro to Director of Software Development to replace Jason Priebe who returned to company where he was employed early in his career.

“Jason will be missed on a personal level and his technical contributions were considerable,” stated Clary, “and all of us at Mi-Co wish Jason all the best in his new endeavors. Mi-Co’s technical hiring philosophy, Chris’ extensive software development skills and now bringing C to Mi-Co demonstrate our continuing commitment to our customers.”
