Quality Control – baeblemusic.com Announces Higher Quality Streams

As part of our commitment to continue bringing you the highest quality concert content, we’re proud to announce our latest technology initiative. Over the next few weeks, Baeble will be re-encoding some of the best and brightest concerts in our expansive catalog at a much higher bit rate. In honor of this initiative, we’re resurrecting one of our favorite past performances from the Pacific Northwest outfit Blitzen Trapper - http://www.baeblemusic.com/Concerts/TheMercuryLounge/BlitzenTrapper.html. Recorded on a steamy summer night at NYC’s Mercury Lounge in 2007, this timeless performance is an absolute gem. In addition to the performance, we’ve got a review of the band’s latest album, Furr, as well.

Baeble marketing manager Alex Szoka said this about the improvements in quality of baeble video streams: “In our effort to present the highest quality product possible, we’ve dramatically increased the quality (bit rate) of many of our video streams.. This will provide our users a more compelling viewing experience and a more accurate depiction of their favorite artists. The process of re-encoding will continue throughout the fall.”
