China Telecom Selects ACCESS PIM Solution for Mobile Network Construction

# Solution ensures smooth transfer of personal information between networks

PT/Expo Comm China, Beijing, China – ACCESS China Inc., a subsidiary of ACCESS CO., LTD., a global provider of advanced software technologies to the mobile and beyond-PC markets, today announced its PIM Solution has been selected by China Telecom to be integrated in the operator’s mobile network construction (Period 1 of 2008). As a new data service of China Telecom, the PIM service will help subscribers keep personal information or do daily backup.

The ACCESS PIM Solution software comprises a PIM Server (data synchronization software for servers) and PIM Client (data management software for clients). ACCESS’ PIM Solution was selected by China Telecom for its mobile network construction over several competitors based on the quality of software design and the fact that it provides an end-to-end solution with market-proven installations worldwide. In addition to full support for OMA DS standards, the ACCESS PIM Solution will also fully cover data types and handset terminals, and can serve as a basis for expanding to other value-added business. The software features multi-platform design and module design, and can be customized to support both HTTP and SyncML.
