JasonCable’s GLBT Podcast Presents a New Gay and Lesbian Issues Podcast

January 9, 2006 - Today the Jason Cable Company announces the creation of a new podcast for those in the GLBT community. The podcast will feature rotating hosts who will talk about a wide variety of gay and lesbian issues. With the popularity of JasonCable.com’s GLBT Podcast, host Jason Cable has decided to help support those that would like to get their voices heard by a global audience. The Jason Cable Company will finance the new show’s infrastructure costs.

Podcast host Jason Cable says, “We’re looking for independent broadcasters from all age groups, countries, and experiences. I would like to hear the voices that help make the GLBT community strong and vibrant. Also, by creating this new podcast, hopefully we can start to bring together the various generations via stories as seen through their own eyes. There is a generational gap in our community which can hopefully be filled here.”

The new show will spotlight gay and gay-friendly voices from around the globe. Many similarities and differences between the geographic areas of hosts will help listeners gain a better understanding and appreciation of the struggles and joys that the worldwide GLBT population laments and enjoys. Jason Cable says, “With few podcasts dealing with issues in the GLBT community, we’re filling another much needed gap in the independent gay and lesbian media.”
