Alltel Wireless to celebrate Dia de Los Muertos with second “Mi Círculo, Mi Música” concert event in El Paso

Little Rock, Ark. - Alltel Wireless, America’s largest network, today announced the line up for the “Mi Círculo, Mi Música” (My Circle, My Music) concert celebration in El Paso featuring popular Spanish contemporary pop rock performers Ha-Ash and Reik. “Mi Círculo, Mi Música” celebrates Alltel’s revolutionary “My Circle” calling plans, which provide customers unlimited calling to any five, 10 or 20 numbers on any network for free. The free outdoor concert will take place on Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead), Saturday, Nov. 1 at 8 p.m. in downtown El Paso, adjacent to Placita San Jancinto.


“Alltel’s ‘Mi Círculo, Mi Música’ celebration is about bringing people together through the music they know and love,” said Regina Woziwodzki, director of multi-cultural marketing for Alltel Wireless. “This year, we’re excited to be back in El Paso for Dia de Los Muertos, bringing people together on a day when the focus of the whole community is celebrating with family and friends.”


“Mi Círculo, Mi Música” will feature two young, popular Spanish contemporary music artists from Mexico. The Mexican band, Reik, has sold over one million CDs globally and released their third album in September entitled “Un Día Mas.” Nominated for a Latin GRAMMY, Premio Lo Nuestro, MTV Video Music and other awards, Reik also performed in Alltel’s “Mi Círculo, Mi Música” concert in El Paso, Texas, in 2007. The sibling duo of Ha-Ash has been singing together since their early teens. Signed by Sony Music in 2002, Ha-Ash has sold over half a million CDs worldwide. Their third studio album, “Habitación Doble,” was released in August 2008 and has already achieved gold status in Mexico.

In conjunction with the “Mi Círculo, Mi Música” concert, Alltel Wireless will make a $10,000 contribution to The Miracle League of El Paso on behalf of its local employees and customers in conjunction with a day of service in mid-October.
