Juniper Networks Protects Customers from New Critical Microsoft Vulnerability Disclosed Today.

SUNNYVALE, Calif., Jan. 5, 2006 -- Juniper Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: JNPR) today confirmed its Intrusion Detection and Protection (IDP) security systems and ISG firewall/virtual private network (VPN) systems with IDP are able to protect customers against the critical Microsoft vulnerability announced today.

Juniper Networks’ IDP systems running operating code versions 3.0r4 and above, and the ISG firewall/VPN systems with IDP provide coverage for MS06-001, a Microsoft vulnerability in the Graphics Rendering Engine that could allow remote code execution.
