Chubb Receives Three Awards for Ease-of-Doing-Business Tools for Insurance Agents and Brokers

WARREN, NJ.- Two organizations have recognized the Chubb Group of Insurance Companies’ efforts to deploy technology to streamline insurance transactions for its agents, brokers and customers.

Applied Systems, an insurance software provider, presented Chubb with the 2008 Interface Partnership Award for collaborative development and implementation of system interface solutions compliant with ACORD standards. Chubb worked with Applied Systems on integrating the insurer’s claims download, commercial direct bill monthly download and personal lines rating bridge into the vendor’s agency management software.

ASCnet, the user group for agents and brokers using an Applied Sytsems agency management system, presented Chubb with an Ease of Doing Business Award for several technology implementations that reduce data entry during policy or claim submission and deliver real-time information to customers. The group also awarded Chubb’s eBusiness manager, Linda Dodson, its Download Achievement Award for her commitment to driving the industry adoption of claims download.

In May, Chubb announced that it was offering its agents and brokers the ability to automatically download personal and commercial lines claim information into The Agency Manager® from Applied Systems.
