Acura of Peabody Accepting Pre-Orders for the 2009 Acura TL

Acura of Peabody, the number one Acura dealer on the North Shore, has just announced it is now accepting pre-orders on the much anticipated 2009 Acura TL.

A representative from Acura of Peabody will call to follow-up all pre-order requests. The 2009 Acura TL is expected to be delivered no later than the Fall of 2008.

The 2009 Acura TL will feature two different engine models, both with striking power and dynamic handling. One will offer 280-hp, 3.5L VTEC® V-6 while the alternative features the new TL SH-AWD® with Super Handling All-Wheel Drive and a 305-hp 3.7L VTEC® V-6. The available SH-AWD transfers up to 70% of the engine torque to the rear wheels during hard acceleration and enhances turning precision by directing up to 100% of the rear power to the outside wheels as needed.

The new TL will feature the Acura Navigation system which offers drivers voice activated data entry and real time traffic to inform you of traffic conditions. The system features an 8-inch screen, mounted in the center control panel, which also serves as the monitor for the rearview camera. Dual zone climate control and an air-filtration system offers drivers and passengers customized settings which can be changed to satisfy individualized comfort preferences.

The TL exterior continues to draw attention with lean and muscular curves and creases that are attractively highlighted by bold chrome detail. The angular grille design continues across the entire vehicle with crisp, clean lines and a fluid, swept-back stance. The side-marker lights cap the dramatic character lines, white-lens turn signals are built into the side mirrors, and the headlights, taillights and exterior trim all boast immaculate finishes.

Inside, the 2009 Acura TL remains true to Acura’s dedication to understated elegance and sophisticated style. Consumers will appreciate the multi-function three-spoke steering wheel and an updated, dynamic face for the gauge cluster. The center panel is a combination of elegance and utility, while at night, subtle, blue ambient lighting artfully illuminates the center console and foot-wells.
