Korea: Citibank & SSG Department Store Launch New SSG-Citicard Quattro Credit Card

Seoul – Citibank Korea (CKI) CEO Y.K. Ha and SSG department store CEO Seok Kang jointly launched the SSG-Citicard Quattro credit card.

At the launch, Sergio Zanatti, CKI Card Director, said, "We are delighted to partner with one of Korea’s retail leaders.

SSG-Citicard Quattro cardholders will enjoy exclusive rewards and services in four categories: shopping, entertainment, gas, and Internet specific benefits.

The lifestyle-focused benefits include: a Shopping Card that offers 5 percent discount at Emart, a Gas Card that offers 4 percent gas discount nationwide (including LPG, diesel), an Entertainment Card offering 20 percent discount at Outback Steakhouse, Seafood Ocean, CGV, Megabox, Starbucks, Fishers Market and China Factory; and an Internet Card that offers an 7 percent extra discount at SSG Mall and 7 percent discount at G Market, Auction and Interpark.

In addition, the universal benefits for SSG-Citicard Quattro cardholders include discounts at the following outlets: 3-5 percent at the SSG; 5 percent at SSG Mall (two to three months free EPP) with no monthly cap; 5 percent at Emart; 4 percent gas discount nationwide (including LPG, diesel); 4 percent mobile discount, 5 percent at all hospitals, Oriental hospitals, and pharmacies nationwide; 5 percent at G Market, Auction, Interpark; 10 percent at Starbucks, 10 percent at Outback Steakhouse, Seafood Ocean, Fishers Market, China Factory; and 10 percent at CGV, Megabox (or up to 10,000 won per month).

In summary, a SSG-Citicard Quattro cardholder can enjoy up to 10,000 won of universal Quattro benefits and an additional 10,000 won of card-specific special discount offers per month.
