For the vast majority of us we would love to find a miracle drug that tricked the body into thinking we were exercising without actually doing it.

“There are now 2 drugs that actually mimic the effects of exercising on mice and are expected to actually work the same way in humans” says Dr. Ronald M Evans.

One drug, codenamed GW1516, actually increased the capability of the mice as if they were running time by 68 percent and distance by 70 percent.

The second drug which actually is the one called AICAR also did increase the running time by 23 percent and then again the distance by 44 percent.
