New Senior Litigation Advisor for Express Clinical Negligence Solicitors

Express Solicitors in Northenden has appointed Margaret Bailey Tsavalas as senior litigation advisor.

Margaret is a medical negligence expert and brings with her 30 years experience of dealing with complex personal injury compensation and clinical negligence cases.

Managing partner at Express Solicitors, James Maxey said: “Having Margaret join the firm is a real coup, as she brings with her a wealth of experience and expertise that will be of huge benefit to our clients and the firm.”

During her career, Margaret has dealt with amputees, paraplegics, severe brain injuries, failure to diagnose or delay in diagnosing various cancers, fatal accidents, clinical negligence and mistakes at birth resulting in serious injury or death.

Margaret’s successes include compensation claim damages of £960,000 for the family of a professional woman in her early forties with two young children – who unfortunately died from an illness which could have been treated and even been prevented from developing at all.

Damages exceeding £560,000 were also achieved by Margaret for a pedestrian who suffered spinal cord injuries resulting in the loss of use of one of his arms after being hit by a car while crossing a roundabout.

Margaret joins Express Solicitors from AST Hampsons in Rochdale where she held the position of senior litigation advisor for seven years. Prior to this Margaret has also worked at other law firms including Pannone and Fentons Solicitors.

The appointment of Margaret brings the number of fee earners at Express Solicitors to 16 and 40 staff overall.
