Jalapeño/Serrano Pepper Recall

RECALL NOTICE

The Federal Drug Administration (FDA) has issued an advisory recommending that customers avoid eating raw jalapeño peppers, Serrano peppers or foods made with jalapeño peppers. As a result, we have pulled all fresh jalapeños sold in our stores and unpasteurized salsas containing jalapeños.

Pasteurized salsas with jalapeños, which are unaffected by this advisory, will remain available in our stores. For more food safety information, you can contact the FDA at 1-888-723-3366.
