Digichief Uses ChyTV Plus For Digital Signage Advertising At The Pump


Melville, NY/Lexington, KY - July 2008: DIGICHIEF, a digital signage software and data distribution company, today announced a contract using ChyTV Digital Signage systems to provide a market specific Video Information Display solution for FUEL VIEW TV Network. The first installation in Lexington, KY has 100 21’ pump top LCD displays at area Shell Stations, DIGICHIEF chose the ChyTV Plus Video Graphics Unit (an offering of Chyron - AMEX: CGS), to update each pump top display.

The ChyTV Plus units are updated remotely using, the on-line service launched in 2007 by Chyron. This enables Shell to enjoy the ability of an immediate, personalized and dynamic ad revenue stream. In addition to remote updates and scheduling, DIGICHIEF supplies each pump top display with relevant news, weather, sports, and financial data from their DIGICHIEF Data Feed. The video loop cycles between an abbreviated local newscast and advertising, along with the relevant mix of local news, weather, sports and financial data via an L-Bar graphic.
