Clear Channel’s NEW! Artist Program Features Kristy Hanson

Clear Channel NEW! Artist Kristy Hanson is currently featured on a number of Southern California radio station websites, including 104.3MyFM, Hot92.3, 102.7KIISFM, and 98.7StarFM. Hanson is a singer-songwriter based in Los Angeles. Her song “Comfort,” from her recent release, Already Gone, has received over 3,000 plays on Clear Channel’s NEW! Adult charts.

Already Gone was recorded in Los Angeles by engineer Ryan Freeland (Aimee Mann, Joe Henry), and features the formidable talents of drummer Jay Bellerose and keyboardist Patrick Warren. Jay is now on tour with Robert Plant and Allison Krauss, and both musicians have performed with the likes of Madeleine Peyroux and Fiona Apple. Recently, Already Gone was featured on XM Satellite Radio’s Radar Report, and host Josiah Lambert called it “a delightful CD”.

Acting as her own booking agent and promoter, Hanson recently completed an extensive tour across the Midwest and East Coast in support of Already Gone. She will travel to the Northwest for shows in Portland and Seattle at the end of this month.
