Ekushey Tv Chooses Chyron For Major Newsroom Upgrade

BroadcastAsia, Singapore, Magna Booth 7D2-01 - June 2008: Chyron (AMEX: CGS) today announced that Ekushey Television (ETV) has installed a MicroX graphics system as part of a major newsroom upgrade. ETV was the first private terrestrial channel in Bangladesh. The system was installed through Magna Systems & Engineering’s partner, LSV Enterprise Singapore.


The MicroX is being used by ETV’s newsroom operators to run a lower third news crawl ticker, and lower third supers when the ticker is taken off air. The MicroX, a single-channel graphics system with high-end features provides ETV with packed functionality and simple interaction with graphics software and data files.
