MEDIA ADVISORY -- LAS VEGAS, June 2008 - At NXTcomm08, Juniper Networks (NASDAQ: JNPR), the leader in high-performance networking, today announced it will showcase its service enabling network infrastructure solutions in Booth #SL 3616. In addition, Juniper will participate in several speaking events and in NXTcomm’s inaugural Green Village. Also announced is that the Juniper Control System (JCS) 1200, the industry’s first high-performance control plane scaling platform, has been honored as a finalist for the NXTcomm Eos Awards.

Juniper’s speaking engagements at NXTcomm include an executive-level panel on Wednesday, June 18th, chaired by Kim Perdikou, executive vice president and general manager, Infrastructure Products Group at Juniper Networks. The session--Open Networks: Accelerating Innovation or Potential Threat--will seek to define the concept of network openness and what it means for the industry. Speakers on the panel include Chris Bilton, director of technology strategy, Chief Technology Office, BT Group; Anthony A. Lewis, vice president of Open Development, Verizon Wireless; and Tom Nolle, president of CIMI Corp. Juniper Networks Booth Activity
The Juniper Networks booth will feature multiple demonstration areas and product displays that exemplify how Juniper Networks service-enabling infrastructure enables carriers to monetize their network and application infrastructure by accelerating service model innovation. The product displays will include the multi-terabit T1600 core router, the MX-series portfolio of Ethernet Services Routers with new product enhancements, and the new family of high-performance EX-series Ethernet Switches. Juniper will also demonstrate its industry-leading security solutions for managed service offerings and enterprise customers.

On Tuesday, June 17th Juniper Networks will host a cocktail reception in its booth from 3:30 - 5:00 p.m.

In addition to its own booth activity, Juniper Networks will be featured in Motorola’s booth (#SU 5016) as an integrated element of Motorola’s fully operational end-to-end IP video solution.
