Enterprise 2.0 Conference, Boston, June 2008 - Alcatel-Lucent (Euronext Paris and NYSE: ALU) and the European leading Enterprise Social Software provider blueKiwi Software announced at the Enterprise 2.0 conference in Boston today that Alcatel-Lucent’s award winning unified communications tool, OmniTouch My Instant Communicator will integrate into the blueKiwi Software platform. This new product integration redefines the enterprise business workplace where “Enterprise 2.0” tools combine social networking applications with Unified Communications to improve efficiency, speed execution and foster innovation across organizations.

blueKiwi is a comprehensive social software suite that helps employees closely collaborate to foster their professional efficiency and improve company business. The Alcatel-Lucent OmniTouch 8610 My Instant Communicator is a multimedia, real-time enterprise communications platform.

Together, Alcatel-Lucent and blueKiwi Software will deliver secure real-time communications with social networking tools, empowering employees to connect to critical untapped knowledge - 80% of information that experts refer to as “tacit” – or stored in the brains and tools of employees, not in structured systems.
