Going Green with New Packaging in Celebration of Earth Day: Boca Beth Commits to Eco-Friendly CD and DVD Packaging
Tampa, Florida (April 22, 2008) – The landfills of tomorrow will be less cluttered thanks to the Earth Day is Every Day mentality that Beth Butler, founder of The Boca Beth Program, has instituted among her staff and throughout her product line. Featuring new environmentally friendly CD and DVD cases that will now consist of recycled paper only and soy based inks, this children’s bilingual product line will truly support the future of our youth.
Studies on landfills and the future of our country’s landfill sites show that concerted efforts must be made immediately to reduce the amount of solid waste going into these land areas. “As the president the Boca Beth Program, I knew I could make a difference and do it quickly. Each new run of our bilingual music CDs and DVDs will reflect only eco-friendly paper and inks that biodegrade within the landfills,” states Butler.
Making the connection between positively changing the communication of our world with her bilingual songs and providing for an improved future for the youth of today, Butler has taken Earth Day as the launch day to announce this company wide mission. “Earth Day is a great day to celebrate the diversity of our planet and its’ people. And even though people are the cause of global warming, it’s nice to know that we can also be the solution,” adds Butler.
All packaging changes are well underway at The Boca Beth office in Tampa, Florida and will debut as complete eco-friendly product line this summer in Chicago during the National Conference of Family Child Care (NAFCC). With more than 1,000 family child care providers and early childhood educators, this change towards a better future for all children is certain to make a statement worth noting.
