Champion driver and Texas native Bobby Labonte is coming home and bringing the colors of Sam’s Club with him.

To celebrate General Mills’ Race for Books, Bobby Labonte, driver of the #43 Cheerios/Betty Crocker Dodge, is scheduled to appear at Sam’s Club located at 1701 W. State Hwy 114 in Grapevine, TX, on April 4 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. for his first public appearance prior to the race. He will be greeting race fans and signing autographs inside the club.

Fans will have the chance to meet Labonte, get an autograph, and donate a free book to promote literacy. To support the Race for Books, simply purchase specially marked packages of General Mills products, order a new book for free (shipping charges apply), and one new book will be donated to a child in need through First Book, a nonprofit organization that provides new books to children in low-income families. Labonte will be in town for the Samsung 500 at Texas Motor Speedway on Sunday, April 6. His famous #43 Cheerios Dodge will feature the logo of Sam’s Club on the hood and rear bumper for the weekend.
