Alcatel-Lucent and SK C&C to deliver the dynamic enterprise to Korean businesses

Seoul.– Alcatel-Lucent (Euronext Paris and NYSE: ALU) and SK C&C, a leading IT service company in Korea, today announced a business agreement to jointly deliver converged enterprise communications solutions to the Korean market, with a Memorandum of Understanding signing at SK C&C headquarters.

Under the agreement, SK C&C and Alcatel-Lucent will deliver communications and networking solutions for enterprises that cost effectively address Korean businesses’ need to better manage an increasingly mobile and information driven workforce. The two companies will work together to help businesses to interconnect their networks, people, processes and knowledge in order to simplify communications and drive operational results.

Alcatel-Lucent will supply its advanced IP Telephony and IP Contact Center solutions like the Omni PCX Enterprise, OmniTouch Unified Communication, as well as its award winning Omni Switch, and Omni Access WLAN IP networking solutions. SK C&C will leverage its expertise in the deployment of large scale call center solutions in Korea, with customers including the Ministry of Government and Home Affairs, Hanaro Telecom, Kyung-dong Boiler, National Health Insurance Corporation, and HUMAX.

Additional partnering activities are anticipated, as Alcatel-Lucent and SK C&C plan to organize a council to cultivate joint business and promote marketing within the region.
