MobiTV Appoints Vice President of Technical Operations

Leading Mobile Television Service Provider Taps David Turner to Lead World-Class Managed Network Operations

EMERYVILLE, CA – March 2008 – MobiTV, Inc., the leader in mobile and broadband entertainment services, today announced that David Turner has joined the Company as Vice President of Technical Operations. Turner brings more than 10 years of executive and managerial experience building and maintaining profitable worldwide operations organizations, including delivery of 24x7 software as a service (SaaS) operations, IT Teams, customer support teams, and engineering services teams. He will report directly to Bruce Gilpin, Chief Operating Officer. His appointment is effective as of March 3, 2008.

Prior to MobiTV, Turner served as Vice President of Operations at DemandTec, a public managed service company that provides retail point-of-sale analytics. During his tenure, he was responsible for 24x7x365 customer support, software as a service (SaaS) delivery, corporate IT, technical publications, and engineering services (including QA and release engineering), and information security. Turner also ensured that DemandTec technical operations, software as a service, customer satisfaction, and product quality always met and exceeded the goals of the company’s core business. Additionally, he also was successful in architecting DemandTec’s SaaS business into a predictable and scalable business unit that balanced both costs and revenues for the benefit of the service and its customers.

Turner also has served as Vice President of Operations at Liberate Technologies where his responsibilities included engineering services, release engineering, systems integration engineering, information technology, facilities and customer support. He has also been a senior consultant in the Information Security Practice of KPMG and is a certified systems auditor. Turner has a master’s degree in Information Systems and Decision Sciences from Louisiana State University’s E.J. Ourso College of Business and a bachelor of arts in economics from Louisiana State University.
