AFA Release New Consultancy and Training Brochure


AFA accredited Project Management and Consultancy Training Provider, are proud to have released their AFA Consultancy and Training 2008 Course Schedule brochure, for organisations and individuals interested in Office of Government Commerce’s (OGC) management methodologies. The brochure provides information on new courses for Best Practice methods, AFA’s Consultancy services, and background information on the trainers and backroom staff. The first part of the brochure covers AFA’s training courses, and starts with a synopsis about AFA and AFA’s accreditations. MSP™ Programme Management is the first training course discussed. This highlights the changes made to MSP™ since its initial publication in 1999; the main changes being around three core concepts, and the three levels of qualification being renamed. To help organisations with the changes, AFA are running a series of refresher days, and information is provided on locations, dates, and costs.

Leading on from MSP™, the brochure covers PRINCE2™, the global project management methodology, and underlines the changes in PRINCE2™ with the Objectively Tested Examinations introduced in September 2007. Information is provided on AFA’s exam results with the PRINCE2™ Objectively Tested Examinations, future course dates, locations and costs. M_o_R® Risk Management is then covered and summarises how effective risk management helps organisations achieve its objectives. Information is provided on course dates, locations and costs.

Information is provided on how AFA can help organisations implement a structured method in the workplace, and how less experienced managers can benefit from post-training mentoring. Last but not least, the brochure covers Benefits Management that helps organisations achieve change initiatives.
