Famed forensic psychiatrist Park Dietz to discuss criminal profiling and infamous cases

Park Dietz will give a public talk on “Methods and Madness: The Humble State of Forensic Psychiatry and Psychology” as part of the 2008 Forensic Science Education Series. Dietz has 30 years of civil and criminal litigation experience in cases involving clergy sexual abuse, psychological damage claims and notorious criminals. He has testified or consulted on high-profile cases including the O.J. Simpson civil suit and the Unabomber case and has extensive knowledge of criminal behavior and the human mind. Dietz will address the current state of forensic mental health evaluations and the portrayal of forensic science in popular TV dramas.
