BigBand Networks’ Ken Koffman Elected to QuEST Forum Board of Directors

BigBand Networks, Inc., (NASDAQ: BBND), a leading innovator in video networking, today announced that Ken Koffman, global corporate quality officer, has been elected to the QuEST (Quality Excellence for Suppliers of Telecommunications) Forum’s board of directors. Mr. Koffman joins an exclusive group of executives on the board, including representatives from AT&T, Verizon, Vodafone, BT Global Services and China Telecom. The board shapes changes to the QuEST Forum’sTL9000 certification and drives global industry quality improvement. TL 9000 defines a strict set of standards for the design, development, production, installation, and maintenance of telecommunications products, software, hardware or services.
