About Tysabri®
Tysabri®, the brand name for natalizumab, is a monoclonal antibody that is approved for the treatment of Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Crohn’s disease. Tysabri® was first approved by the FDA in November 2004, but was removed from the market just three months later after several patients were diagnosed with a rare, often fatal opportunistic brain infection called progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy (PML).
