The LTE/SAE Trial Initiative is comprised of global companies dedicated to verifying LTE’s ability to achieve the performance necessary to give a true broadband experience on mobile devices. It is divided into three main phases: Proof of Concept, Interoperability and Trial. Joint testing and reporting of ongoing results will continue to the end of 2009, with initial LTE system deployments planned for 2010.
