Utah “Do Not E-mail Registry” Operator Responds to Lawsuit by Free Speech Coalition

Matthew Prince, CEO of Unspam (www.unspam.com), the company contracted to operate Utah’s Child Protection Registry, responded strongly today to the announcement by the Free Speech Coalition that it had filed suit in federal district court in Salt Lake City, Utah challenging the constitutionality and legality of the anti-spam law.

Responding that this is nothing more than pornographers seeking to continue to send spam to children, Matthew Prince is available for comment regarding the issue. Prince is a leading proponent of anti-spam technologies to protect children, having addressed the United Nations on this issue, and is frequently called upon to discuss the topic at legislative conferences.

Mr. Prince is an attorney having earned his JD from the University of Chicago. Prior to law school he studied English and Computer Science at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut.
