ITC rules Belkin’s KVM switches do not infringe on Aten’s patent

(Compton, CA) .– Belkin International, Inc., the global leader in connectivity solutions, announces that the International Trade Commission (ITC), in a Notice of Commission Determination issued on February 8, 2008, ruled that Belkin did not infringe Aten’s patent (U.S. Pat. No. 7,035,112) and that Belkin did not violate the trade statute.

At Aten’s request, the ITC initiated an investigation against Belkin in December 2006. Aten claimed several Belkin KVM switches infringed on their patent. In November 2007, an ITC administrative law judge ruled in Belkin’s favor, finding no violation by Belkin.

The investigation has now been terminated by the ITC.
