Company Web Site Among Most Popular on Busiest Shopping Days of the Year; iPhone Helps Drive Traffic

San Antonio, Texas.- Shopping online with AT&T has never been more satisfying. AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T), the nation’s No. 1 wireless and broadband provider, today announced that www.att.com was ranked first in customer satisfaction by a recent survey of communications industry Web sites.

In the survey conducted by comScore, a global Internet information provider, AT&T’s Web site took the top spot in every site experience category, including: overall satisfaction, ease of use and visitors’ likelihood to return to the site and recommend the site to others. The site also took top honors in online satisfaction with page-loading time, site security, search capabilities, the availability of promotions and navigation and site organization. Overall, visitors said they were more satisfied with www.att.com than any other site included in the survey.

The AT&T Web site has been one of the most popular online destinations on the most significant shopping days of the year. Most recently, it was reported that AT&T’s online sales on Black Friday (the day after Thanksgiving) and Cyber Monday (the following work day), placed the company among the top five online retail sites both days. The continued popularity of the Apple iPhone, available for purchase on AT&T’s site, has been a key traffic driver for the site.

“A compelling online destination is key to any successful business, and like all businesses, we want our site to be as user-friendly and informative as possible,” said Rick Welday, AT&T chief marketing officer-Consumer. “The positive results of the comScore study reflect the hard work we’ve put into the site, which will continue to be an area of focus as we look at new opportunities and areas for growth.”

More than 3,200 people participated in the survey, which was conducted during August through October of 2007 and was just released. The survey measured customer satisfaction with the Web sites of several of AT&T’s leading competitors, including Verizon, Sprint, Comcast, Charter, Cox and others.
