In the old days the harness maker and the blacksmith were the two most important trades in the towns. With horses being used on a daily basis from working the fields, wagon trains and taking the kids to school, the harness marker was never without work. With the technology of our times the trade was beginning to die out, but now today, with horses making a come back for show, pleasure and working, a good harness maker is in demand again. The speciality tools and sewing machines required for harness making are hard to find these days. For this reason it wasn’t a job one just decided to do. It wasn’t something Terry and Theresa Early planned to do for a living, but when the opportunity came about to buy a already existing harness shop they jumped at the idea. It was something they could do as a family and with Theresa’s talents in pattern making and sewing, it seemed a perfect fit. TnT Harness in Holland, Manitoba opened it’s doors in July of 1996. Spending 2 years learning the trade and providing the quality workmanship that their customers were beginning to expect, has given TnT Harness a name to be recognized. Whether it be repairs or making harness from scratch, Theresa has the talent to make you harness to be proud of. TnT also carries a full stock of horse grooming equipment and tack.
