Xerox Corporation (NYSE: XRX) and 17 digital printing customers were recently honored with nearly 30 awards by the International Association of Printing House Craftsmen, an independent network of graphic arts and printing professionals. Among the winning applications of the 2007 International Gallery of Superb Printing “Best of the Best” awards were books, magazines and postcards produced on several different digital color presses including the Xerox iGen3™ 110 Digital Production Press, DocuColor™ 8000 and DocuColor 5000 Digital Presses.

Judged by a panel of more than 40 technical experts from the U.S. and Canada, the awards recognize creative applications that best exemplify the craft, art and science of graphic communications. Xerox’s 12 winning entries, selected from nearly 2,250 entries within 89 categories, showcase Xerox’s industry-leading digital color printing portfolio.

“The key to developing innovative print jobs is pairing creativity with a digital press that delivers high-quality output. Without it, they would remain concepts on a computer or on paper,” said Kevin Keane, president, IAPHC. “The superb quality and ingenuity of Xerox’s winning applications made them stand out from the crowd, truly exemplifying the power of digital printing.”

Xerox was honored with the following awards:

* Five Gold - “Eastman School of Music” prospective student view book; “Estela” fashion catalog; “John Myers Book,” a collection of the photographer’s images shot during a trip to Italy; “Log Home Planner” building guide; and “Brian Hampton Gallery Sign” poster.
* Four Silver - “Wegmans Menu Magazine,” a quarterly magazine sent to grocery customers; limited edition coffee table book “Horse Book with Photography by Mark Barrett;” “Tree Frog” stock photography reprint; and “Aspen Felt” poster featuring the White River National Forrest in Aspen, Colo.
* Two Bronze - Graphic Arts Monthly, a print industry magazine with a personalized cover for each subscriber and “Lady Dish Poster,” a promotional piece for Market Square Polish Pottery of Pittsford, N.Y.
* One Honorable Mention - “Polish Pottery Postcards,” direct-mail pieces for Market Square Polish Pottery.

“This recognition by the industry reinforces the positive feedback we hear every day from customers on how they use Xerox technology to produce high quality, revenue-generating jobs,” said Quincy Allen, president, Xerox Production Systems Group.

A wide range of Xerox customers, from major national commercial printers to quick and in-plant printers, received a total of 17 “Best of the Best Awards.” Winners included: RR Donnelley; C&C Security Printing Co., Ltd.; Copresco; Emerald City Graphics; University of Arkansas Printing Services; Stuyvesant Press, Inc.; Tucker Printers; Toppan Printing Company America, Inc.; Graphic Solutions Group, Inc.; The Lowe-Martin Group; Avant Imaging & Information Management, Inc.; CJ Graphics Inc.; Blitzprint; JCS Digital Solutions; ADPRINT Print Communications; and Sir Speedy.
