WAYNE, NJ, November 10, 2005 – A new Sirius plug ‘n’ play tuner from JVC allows listeners to pause, rewind and fast forward programming. The new JVC KT-PK3000, which can be used in vehicles, at home or with a dedicated JVC boom box, is JVC’s latest generation PDA-sized Sirius Satellite radio. It will be available in mid-November.

What sets the KT-PK3000 apart from earlier JVC plug ‘n’ play models is its ability to pause, rewind or replay more than 40 minutes of programming, providing listeners with a new level of flexibility and convenience. Its compact size makes it easy to move from one location to another, and it uses the same car kit, home kit and boom box as JVC’s current plug ‘n’ play model.

The KT-PK3000 boasts a vibrant LCD panel with a six-line display, intuitive controls and multiple menu options for further enhanced legibility and safety by minimizing distractions while driving. Users can set up to 30 stream presets use Memory Capture to store 20 favorite songs that are searched for in incoming channels anytime this feature is activated. All functions can be locked or unlocked to ensure that preferences remain intact until the user decides it’s time for a change.

The KT-PK3000’s “Jump Button” puts traffic, weather reports or a favorite Sirius channel just one touch away. Users who want to know what they’ll hear next can search ahead in a stream to see what artists/songs/program will be featured on any Sirius channel.

Additional features include a dimmer/contrast control, channel skip capability, auto shut down, sleep timer, and wireless remote control.

The KT-PK3000 will be available in mid-November and will sell for approximately $150, including a car kit.

One Tuner, Three System Options
JVC’s KT-PK3000 Sirius Satellite Radio tuner is designed to be as flexible as it is compact. To ensure full compatibility in the car, home and everywhere else, JVC offers two ancillary adapter kits.

KS-K6012: Wireless FM Car Kit (retail price: $49.95) – This kit is included with the KT-PK300, but additional kits can be purchased separate. The car kit offers eight different frequencies chosen from the unit’s menu allowing connection to any car stereo. The KS-K6012 includes a cradle with a built-in wireless FM transmitter, universal suction cup mount, low profile magnetic mount antenna, cigarette lighter power cord, and stereo auxiliary input adapter.

KS-K6013 Home Kit (retail price: $49.95) – Includes a table-top docking station with a weighted base, a windowsill mount indoor/outdoor antenna, AC/DC power supply, and stereo auxiliary input adapter.

For ultimate portability, the KTPK3000 can plug directly into JVC’s KS-SB200 boom box (retail price: $129.95).
