Belgian Bank Meets High-Performance Business Requirements and Builds Customer Confidence

SUNNYVALE, Calif.- Juniper Networks, Inc. (NASDAQ: JNPR), the leader in high-performance networking, today announced that Dexia, a European banking group and a leader in financing services for the public sector, has deployed a new security architecture throughout its branch network based upon the Juniper Networks Integrated Security Gateway (ISG) 2000 and the Juniper Networks NetScreen Security Manager (NSM). With offices in the most prominent industrialized countries in the world, the bank was required to upgrade its firewall provision to provide comprehensive protection without compromising performance.

The Juniper Networks ISG 2000 is a fully integrated FW/VPN/IPS system with multi-gigabit performance, a modular architecture, and rich virtualization capabilities. The full IPS capability available on the ISG products via the IDP security modules, provide robust network and application layer protection against current and emerging threats. With unmatched security processing power and network segmentation features, the ISG Series can be deployed to protect network perimeters as well as internal servers and network segments.
