Sirit Inc. and Japan Information System Co. Ltd. Reach OEM Agreement

JIS to market customized version of Sirit’s INfinity 510 RFID reader in Japan

Toronto, ON.– Sirit Inc. (“Sirit”) (TSX: SI), a leading provider of radio frequency identification (“RFID”) technology, announced today that Japan Information System Co. Ltd. (“JIS”) has agreed to sell a customized version of Sirit’s INfinity 510 RFID reader in Japan. JIS intends to make this product their flagship UHF reader and expects it will be available to customers in early 2008.

JIS is a system integration company established in 1994 with broad-based experience in RFID and other technologies that provide information management solutions for a wide array of customers. Turn-key systems delivered by JIS encompass hardware, customized software, installation and training. Their version of the INfinity 510 will be installed into a number of applications including supply chain, logistics, healthcare, asset tracking, manufacturing, airline baggage, parking access, and factory automation.

Under the agreement, Sirit will utilize the INfinity 510 platform and provide customized feature enhancements that meet JIS customers’ unique configuration requirements. The JIS version of the product will incorporate all of Sirit’s proprietary tag acquisition algorithms, extensive reader management tool-kit, and user-friendly documentation.

As part of the OEM Agreement, JIS will be obtaining and maintaining all of the necessary regulatory approvals in Japan in addition to providing localized support tools.
