Nickelodeon’s Hit TEENick Series Premieres A New Half-Hour Episode Showcasing The Band’s Music Videos Including Banana Smoothie, Taxi Cab, Run, I Could Be,

Long Distance and Fishin for Love

NEW YORK.- Art imitates real life in a new episode of Nickelodeon’s hit mockumentary series, The Naked Brothers Band titled, “The Naked Brothers Band: Been There, Rocked That,” on Saturday, Dec. 1, at 9 p.m. (ET/PT). Hot off the heels of their Nickelodeon/Columbia Records self-titled debut album, viewers are invited to join real-life brothers and rockers, Nat Wolff and Alex Wolff as they prepare to conquer the teen world in a new half- hour episode. In “Been There Rocked That,” the duo begin their whirlwind promotional tour and take part in a mock press junket where they’ll answer questions from journalists about their favorite music videos of all time. The episode will feature six music videos of the band’s hits such as, Banana Smoothie, Taxi Cab, Fishin for Love, Run, I Could Be and Long Distance. The Naked Brothers Band airs regularly on Nickelodeon every Saturday night at 9 p.m. (ET/PT).

“Nat and Alex are authentic musical talent whose original musical lyrics relate to kids everywhere,” said Marjorie Cohn, Executive Vice President Original Programming & Development, Nickelodeon Networks. “The success of their first CD and DVD shows how much their music resonates with fans.”

Nickelodeon and Columbia Records released The Naked Brothers Band debut CD in October, which includes 15 all-original songs from the hit series written and performed by the show’s stars, Nat Wolff and Alex Wolff. Also available now at retail is The Naked Brothers Band: Battle of the Bands DVD, which includes the title movie as well as additional episodes and music videos.

Inspired by the Wolff siblings’ real-life, preschool-born band, The Naked Brothers Band follows a world-famous rock group, chronicling their fame, friendship, temporary break-up and adolescent experiences. The cameras track the charismatic, rock stars -- led by dreamy, sensitive singer-songwriter Nat, 12, and energetic, unabashedly adorable drummer Alex, 10 -- on and off stage, focusing, too, on their celebrity lifestyle with all of its perks and problems. Featured as well are the Wolff boys’ real-life friends and band mates from pre-school days: cellist Thomas (Thomas Batuello) and keyboard player David (David Levi), along with guitarist Qaasim (Qaasim Middleton) and bassist -- Nat’s crush -- Rosalina (Allie DiMeco). Cooper (Cooper Pillot), the band’s pint-sized manager, completes the tween troop, and Jesse (Jesse Draper) is Nat and Alex’s ditzy tutor/babysitter and real-life cousin.

The second season of The Naked Brothers Band recently wrapped production in Brooklyn, New York, and is set to premiere on Nickelodeon in January 2008. The series also launched internationally in spring 2007 on Nickelodeon UK and has continued to roll out across Nick’s 31 channels world-wide, to conclude with Nick Holland in February 2008. The Naked Brothers Band has been nominated for two 2007 Nickelodeon Australia Kids’ Choice Awards, a 2007 Nickelodeon UK Kids’ Choice Award, and the movie received a nomination for a 2007 Teen Choice Award. Additionally, Nat, Alex, and Michael Wolff are all recipients of the BMI 2007 Cable Award.

The premiere of The Naked Brothers Band television series delivered Nickelodeon’s highest-rated premiere in seven years with kids 6-11 and the series quickly became one of the top programs for kids 6-11 and tweens on television.
