Advanced Technology Generates Exceptional Massage Techniques

CHATSWORTH, CA – Massage options abound with a new line of Massage Chairs from SANYO Fisher Company’s Home Appliance Division, incorporating today’s most innovative technologies, including stiffness sensing and GK Roller Technology, which emulates the comfortable “grasping and kneading” experience of a live massage.

Massage therapy has long been recognized as a simple way to maintain both good health and mental well being by way of relaxation and rejuvenation from a massage. Providing these benefits is SANYO’s line of massage chairs, which includes the HEC-A2500K featuring Air Bags and Leg Point Shiatsu, the HEC-SR1000K with Stiffness Sensor and 4-Way Multi-Roller, and the HEC-SA5000K, with Stiffness Sensor and GK Roller Technology.

“Sit in any of these chairs for a massage and you’ll realize how the latest technology can help relieve stress by working on certain areas of the body,” said Richard Miller, SANYO’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “These new chairs offer a variety of options that allow the user to choose the right massage that best suits them.”

Available on two of the massage chairs is the Stiffness Sensor, which locates areas of physical stiffness in the body in order to perform a personalized massage. Within a hand-held control, the sensor gauges an individual’s areas of fatigue by measuring changes in perspiration and pulse rate. In addition, the three chairs are designed to adapt to varying body types with the Physical Shape Detection Sensor, even if the person changes position during the massage or when reclining. Each chair presents a personalized massage by offering a variety of manual and automatic courses.

“After many successful years of business in Japan with massage chairs, we are excited to now bring our latest, top-tier models into the U.S. market. The new GK Roller Technology, in particular, goes beyond anything I’ve ever felt in a massage chair,” said Miller.
