The Liverpool Legal Market Heats Up for Capital of Culture 2008

Liverpool’s National and Commercial law firms continue to enjoy a strong run up to Capital of Culture 2008. Weightmans, Halliwells, Hill Dickinson and Brabners Chaffe Street amongst others have reported a significant increase in turnover in the last financial year and have all recruited substantially in 2007. Global heavyweight DLA Piper has continued to headline with several high profile instructions.

Weightmans LLP has won significant contracts with household name clients and recruited heavily into their Employment, Public Sector and Insurance teams in particular. Sian Evans has also been a significant addition to the Commercial Litigation team having joined from JST Lawyers.
