Qualcomm Announces Winners of Fifth Annual 3G A-List Awards

Enterprises from Around the World Honored for Innovative 3G Wireless Mobility Implementations Based on CDMA Standards.

SAN DIEGO .— Qualcomm Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM), a leading developer and innovator of advanced wireless technologies and data solutions, today announced the winners of the fifth annual 3G A-List Awards, which recognize innovative and successful enterprise wireless data solutions worldwide based on 3G CDMA standards (CDMA2000®/EV-DO and WCDMA/HSPA). Nominations and finalists for 2007 represented a broader array of international implementations than ever before, reflecting the progressive growth of 3G services and enterprise adoption. Qualcomm honored 3G A-List Award Winners at a private reception in San Francisco during CTIA Wireless I.T. & Entertainment 2007.

From a field of nominations, 15 leading enterprises were selected that are bringing to life products, services and applications throughout multiple industries - retail, healthcare, financial services, insurance, education and emergency response - and that are making a positive, meaningful impact on people’s lives around the world. Winners were chosen based on outstanding wireless implementations that demonstrate innovation, creativity, overall positive business impact and how the winning organization exceeded business objectives by introducing higher return on investment, reducing operating expenses or increasing customer satisfaction.
