Line-up led by Reman ECMs and DSD online subscription-based services

October 25, 2005, TROY, Mich. -- Delphi Corp. plans to introduce a new line of engine management parts and a new subscription-based service product at 2005 Automotive Aftermarket Parts Expo (AAPEX) show, Nov. 1-4 in Las Vegas.

Visitors to booth 1638 at this year’s AAPEX show will have the opportunity to view Delphi’s new line of remanufactured engine control modules (ECMs) and powertrain control modules (PCMs), intake manifolds, and expanded line of ignition wire sets. The new Delphi ignition wire set packaging will be featured in this year’s New Product Packaging Showcase at AAPEX, displayed on the upper level at the Sands Convention Center.

In addition to these new offerings, Delphi will display its complete line of OE quality replacement parts for engine management, fuel management and heating and cooling systems. Unlike many other brands currently on the market, Delphi’s vehicle electronic products are designed for a precise fit, every time.

“The rise in electronic content in vehicles is rapidly changing the parts and service requirements for our business,” said Francisco A. (Frank) Ordoñez, president, Delphi Product & Service Solutions and vice president, Delphi Corporation. “Delphi has the inside track on these changes and is investing to help its customers turn these challenges into opportunities.”

As a company that can supply virtually every major OE vehicle system, complemented by a strong portfolio of aftermarket products and services, Delphi is well positioned to help the independent aftermarket develop a variety of new opportunities.

Delphi is introducing a new Driver Seat Diagnostic (DSD) On-Line subscription-based service product and new merchandising system. Delphi service experts will be available for “live” demonstrations at the Delphi booth each day throughout the show. Delphi is also introducing additional training and technical support enhancements, including the new hands-on workshop seminars.

Finally, again this year, Delphi NASCAR Driver Kyle Busch will be in the Delphi booth signing autographs on Tuesday, Nov. 1 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. and Wednesday, Nov. 2 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
