New Business Coach podcast episodes offer expert tips and advice for Canadian entrepreneurs

From the producers that launched one of the top rated podcasts for small business, now comes the sequel. BMO Bank of Montreal and PROFIT Magazine are taking Canada’s entrepreneurs to the next level of business success by launching a new wave of episodes in the popular Business Coach podcast series. As of October 2007, new podcast episodes will be regularly available on iTunes, as well as on bmo.com and PROFITguide.com.

The series will touch on a number of key topics affecting the small business community, such as advisory boards, the Facebook phenomenon, economic forecasts, government funding and the secrets of Canada’s most successful entrepreneurs.

Rated as one of the top podcasts available for download during the run of its first episode on Apple iTunes, the new Business Coach episodes will offer new insight and information in an updated format to help small business owners run their business better.

“Following the successful model of PROFIT Magazine, we’re tailoring the Business Coach podcast to deliver actionable insights that will help all owner/managers improve their bottom line,” said Ian Portsmouth, Editor of PROFIT. “Podcasting allows us to do that in a format that’s highly convenient for busy entrepreneurs.”

The new episodes, which will be shorter in length at only eight to 10 minutes each, will feature a variety of informative and compelling interviews with a broad range of experts, including small business owners, advisors, gurus, senior economists and human resource specialists.

“As a trusted advisor for our small business customers, we take the role of providing timely and relevant business information seriously,” said Gail Cocker, Senior Vice President of Commercial Banking, BMO Bank of Montreal. “Partnering with PROFIT Magazine for the next wave of Business Coach podcast episodes gives Canadian entrepreneurs a distinct advantage to help take their business to the next level.”

The Business Coach podcast is offered in both English and French, with the English language interviews hosted by Ian Portsmouth and veteran broadcaster André Hains leading the Francophone episodes. Subscribers are invited to provide feedback and suggestions for future episode topics.
