KODAK Scan Station and NSi’s software package agreement offers customized solutions for scanning, distributing, storing documents in a variety of formats

Rochester, New York.- Customers can quickly and collaboratively manage documents now that the KODAK Scan Station 100 is available with Notable Solutions, Inc.’s (NSi) distributed capture workflow software, AUTOSTORE. Announced earlier this year at the AIIM/On Demand Conference & Exposition, the agreement between Kodak and NSi delivers a solution that offers intuitive, single touch operation for high quality document image capture and sharing through KODAK Perfect Page image processing technologies. Paired with AUTOSTORE software, the solution provides compatibility with a number of business applications, databases and document management systems.

“Through our agreement with NSi, we can provide end users with an even greater level of functionality and versatility that addresses their requests for fast, efficient, secure document management solutions,” said Roger Markham, Marketing Manager for Distributed Capture products for Eastman Kodak Company. “The Scan Station with NSi AUTOSTORE helps customers streamline their document capture processes with a versatile and easy to use interface.”

KODAK Scan Station with NSi AUTOSTORE eliminates steps by allowing users to scan once and deliver documents to virtually any type of multiple formats. The solution offers security through individual login to personal workflows, and eliminates end user manual handling by reading barcodes and handwriting and performing Bates numbering. The KODAK Scan Station with NSi AUTOSTORE allows users to store documents as usable data by converting scanned documents into searchable PDF, Word, Excel and other formats; saving scanned documents to a variety of document management systems; and entering index data at the device panel.

“By using AUTOSTORE’s embedded XP application for the KODAK Scan Station 100, we are now able to provide a full set of features and connectivity right out of the box that will improve manageability for IT administrators and increase productivity for the end user,” said Jeffrey Moore, Vice President, Sales, NSi.

AUTOSTORE is a suite of server based products from NSi that connects various types of document input sources such as fax machines, multi function peripherals and scanners, and interfaces with customers’ existing programs, document management processes and workflow systems. AUTOSTORE, used worldwide today with a variety of capture devices and applications in more than 25,000 servers and 250,000 embedded devices, offers a secure and cost effective means of efficiently capturing documents and information in a distributed capture environment.
