Security Solution Combines Home Security and Internet Security To Help Protect Homes Inside and Out

Qwest Communications International Inc. (NYSE: Q) and ADT Security Services, Inc., a part of Tyco International (TYC), today announced an agreement that offers special savings to customers who purchase their respective complementary communications and security services.

ADT, the nation’s leading provider of electronic security services, helps protect homes and families in the event of an intrusion, fire, carbon monoxide leak or other emergency. Qwest customers can select a security solution, which includes a $200 cash-back offer from ADT, when they choose any new Qwest service and purchase or reactivate an ADT security system.

New Qwest Broadband customers also receive Windows Live services, a comprehensive Internet security, maintenance and data back-up service that protects against viruses, hackers and other on-line intruders. It includes easy-to-set-up parental controls, usage limits and the abilities to blacklist selected sites and create Internet activity logs. Windows Live from Qwest is available exclusively to new and current residential Qwest Broadband customers, including customers who take advantage of the Qwest offer and ADT cash back offer.
