Rockwell Collins announces Pro Line 4 to Pro Line 21 upgrade

ATLANTA.- Rockwell Collins today announced a new program to upgrade the Pro Line 4 Flight Decks with Pro Line 21 displays enabling operators to integrate the latest flight deck features such as Jepp View, Graphical Weather and Enhanced Maps. The offering, which will initially be available for Dassault Falcon 2000/Falcon 50 EX Pro Line 4 platforms, is being launched with Duncan Aviation.

“This retrofit package will fulfill Pro Line 4 operators’ desire for an integrated paperless cockpit,” said Denny Helgeson, vice president and general manager, business and regional systems for Rockwell Collins. “By upgrading to Pro Line 21 Liquid Crystal Displays (LCD), operators will have access to new functionality, including charts, graphical weather and maps available through our Integrated Flight Information System (IFIS).”

“Duncan Aviation is pleased to be collaborating once again with Rockwell Collins as we continue to grow our Glass Box Project program. Based on the early response we have received from Falcon 2000 and 50EX operators, we are confident a Pro Line 21 upgrade for these aircraft is going to be in high demand,” said John Slieter, vice president of modifications and completions for Duncan Aviation.

The Pro Line 21 upgrade for the Falcon 2000/Falcon 50 EX includes four 8-inch by 10-inch LCDs, and provides operators the opportunity to integrate options such as: IFIS providing electronic charts, XM graphical weather, and an Enhanced Vision System.
