BASF to increase prices for coatings resins

Effective immediately, BASF will increase prices in Europe for coatings resins by up to 15 %, depending on the product line, as existing contracts allow. Reasons are increased costs for raw materials, transportation, energy, packaging, services and engineering.

The price increase affects the entire coatings resins portfolio. These resins are primarily used in the automotive, wood and industrial coatings markets.
