The partnership will specifically focus on the prevention of mother-to-child HIV transmission and pediatric HIV care and treatment with an initial focus in five countries. In addition to the strong country presence of both organizations, UNICEF’s international network and programme implementation knowledge, paired with FHI’s technical competence as well as research and community experience, will strengthen the safety net for women and children impacted by HIV and AIDS globally.
