Corel Corporation (NASDAQ:CREL; TSX:CRE), a leading developer of graphics, productivity and digital media software, today announced a partnership with CVS/pharmacy, the largest pharmacy in North America with 6,200 locations across the U.S. Corel has created CVS Photo Editor Plus, a branded software solution based on Corel® Snapfire™. The software is available as a feature on the new CVS Picture CD or as a free download to millions of CVS/pharmacy photo customers from www.cvsphotocenter.com. In addition, Corel is providing CVS/pharmacy with the user interface for the new CVS Picture CD, now available at CVS Photo Centers across North America.

“Corel is making it easy for CVS/pharmacy customers to make the most of their digital photos within the range of convenient services we already provide through our in-store kiosks and the CVS Photo Center,” said Jonas Merrill, Senior Category Manager of Photo Processing at CVS. “Corel understands how people interact with their digital images and this partnership will encourage customers to be more creative with their photos and to share these memories with family and friends.”

Helping Customers Do More with Digital Photos

Together, Corel and CVS/pharmacy are providing customers with convenient access to easy yet powerful photo editing and management software. CVS Photo Editor Plus provides the tools to easily organize, enhance and share favorite photos, as well as make stunning photo creations simply by dropping photos into professionally-designed templates. In addition, customers can now order prints and photo gifts from within CVS Photo Editor Plus, making online ordering and in-store pickup even more convenient.

“CVS/pharmacy was the first nationwide retailer to combine Internet print ordering with in-store pickup, and they continue to show leadership in providing their customers with a complete range of digital photo services,” said Blaine Mathieu, Vice President and General Manager, Products and Strategy, Digital Media at Corel. “By making it easy to access our software from everywhere people interact with their digital pictures, CVS/pharmacy is providing customers with maximum convenience and flexibility while enabling them to make their prints as memorable as possible.”
